Чем отличается certain/sure/bound
Что бы выразить мнение говорящего употребляется certain/sure/bound + to + infinitive в разговорном английском языке:
Jack and Lucy are certain/sure/bound to go abroad.
Но когда необходимо выразить мнение другого человека (субъекта) употребляется subject (субъект + другой человек) + sure/certain + that clause
Jack and Lucy are certain /sure that they will go abroad.
Confident that может заменить certain или sure that, но за confident that не следует инфинитив
Jack and Lucy are confident that they will go abroad.
Jack and Lucy are confident of going abroad.
Confident/sure/certain + of + существительное (noun) или местоимение (pronoun) или герундий (gerund).
Unless one are very early one can’t be sure of being the first.
Unless one are very early in the deep forest one can’t be certain/confident of picking mushrooms.
Bound+to+infinitive но не certain/confident употребляется с that clause и переводиться – обязан.
According to the agreement they are bound to supply the materials.
